Davin Hansen, PA-C, will be assisting Dr. Brent Eberhard in his practice. Hansen is a familiar face to many Davis County residents. He’s been a practicing physician’s assistant in Layton for more than 15 years.
Hansen, a Clearfield native, received his B.S. in Spanish from Weber State University and his B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He has worked at Wee Care Pediatrics in Layton since graduating in 2000.
“I’ve always been attracted to the practice of medicine,” Hansen said. “It’s a great way to help people out and a good field to be in.”
When Hansen graduated, he had three specialties that interested him: pediatrics, family practice and orthopedics.
“Pediatrics was at the top of the list, so when I had the chance to work in the field I took it,” he said.
Hansen enjoys sports and music in his free time. He and his wife reside in West Point with their six children.
“I brought my daughter, Laila, in because she hurt her arm playing on the monkey bars. I am SO GRATEFUL we had the opportunity to have Davin Hansen, PA-C take care of her. HE WAS WONDERFUL!!! And so was his MA, Judy!! They made my daughter feel so comfortable. This was the first time she’d broken a bone. An experience that normally could have been quite traumatizing ended up being very positive. Davin made her laugh and feel so special! We will definitely be back to see him again!” – Shirleyann Wilding, Google, October 2017
