Scott Cardon, MD


Scott Cardon, M.D., has joined Tanner Clinic’s Layton location as an Urgent Care physician. Dr. Cardon has been practicing in northern Utah for more than 20 years. He is board-certified in family medicine.

Dr. Cardon graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in zoology from Brigham Young University in Provo. He completed medical school at the University of Utah and a family practice residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California.

Dr. Cardon served as a family physician in the air force, then began practicing at a clinic in South Ogden.  He began his Urgent Care practice in 1994 and brings a wealth of experience to Tanner Clinic.

Dr. Cardon enjoys soccer. He played college soccer has officiated games on both the high school and college levels. He volunteers at the Midtown Free Clinic in Ogden and serves on the Weber ATC medical assistant board. He enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, skiing and shooting. He and his wife have four children and three grandchildren.

Dr. Cardon will see urgent care patients at the Layton clinic only.
