Wyatt West, MD, joined Tanner Clinic as a family medicine and weight management physician at the Roy Medical Clinic.
Dr. West, a Utah native raised in the Mountain Green/Morgan area, completed his bachelor’s degree at Weber State University before going on to earn his MD at the University of Utah.
He completed his family medicine residency in Utah at McKay-Dee Hospital where he emphasized sports medicine and ran workshops in CME conferences for sports medicine. Since then, sports medicine has continued to be a principal emphasis for Dr. West’s practice, as well as a passion for weight loss medicine. Dr. West is board-certified in obesity management and runs Mountain Valley Medical Weight Loss at Tanner Clinic to help his patients lead healthier lives.
Before joining Tanner Clinic, Dr. West practiced in Morgan for three years and was the only practicing physician in the county.
Dr. West and his wife have three children. “Our family loves to spend time in Southern Utah hiking and biking.” He also enjoys trail running and has run a number of marathons as well.
Dr. West is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
