Nicole Stapley, DNP-CPNP

Nicole Stapley’s work has taken her from the mountains of Ecuador to the Salt Lake Valley. Stapley, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, has joined the pediatric team at Tanner Clinic’s Kaysville location.

After graduating from Davis High, Stapley completed her B.S. in nursing at University of Utah. She then served as mission nurse specialist for the LDS church in Quito, Ecuador. Following her mission, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Utah.

While working on her DNP degree, Stapley worked as a registered nurse, focusing on orthopedic, oncology and medical/surgical patients.  Most recently she worked as a triage nurse for a medical group in Salt Lake City. She has also volunteered at Orphanage Support Services in Ecuador and at The Family Support Center in Salt Lake City.

Stapley believes integrity, compassion, excellence and respect are the foundation of a patient-centered health care experience.

“I encourage patients to participate in their own care and strive to treat the whole person,” Stapley said.

Stapley is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

What Patients Are Saying About Nicole Stapley

“I dropped by for an impromptu visit to see my regular pediatrician yesterday morning. as my son had broken out in a horrible rash the night before. Sadly, he was not available, but they got us in to see the Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Nicole Stapley. I was so happy with our experience! She was incredibly nice and knew her stuff! She took the time to look over my son very well before she jumped to a diagnosis, and then explained in detail what it was, how to handle it, and prescribed an ointment that would help us get through the weekend if his symptoms got worse! I had a wonderful experience with her, and if my doctor is not available again, I know who my back up will be! –I highly recommend her, and look forward to seeing her in the future.”- Amanda on Google+, February 2016
