Dustin Thompson, NP

Dustin Thompson, FNP-C, is an endocrinologist nurse practitioner practicing on the second floor of the Layton Parkway clinic.  

Dustin attended the University of South Alabama. He enjoys helping his patients progress to healthier lives. Dustin works under Dr. Steven Brown, and his practice specializes in general endocrinology conditions, thyroid disease/cancer treatments, and diabetes management, including insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor (CGM) training and management. 

“There is a lack of empathy and education with many endocrine disorders, and there is an ability to help patients through some of the tough moments in life.” said Dustin when asked about what makes him passionate in his field of work. 

Dustin grew up in Bountiful and moved back to Utah after completing school. He is married and has four kids. He enjoys slow-pitch softball, playing outside in the backyard with his kids and dog, and being outdoors with his whole family. Some of Dustin’s favorites include the movie Multiplicity and the song Should’ve Been a Cowboy by Toby Keith.
