Madison Nixon, PA-C

Madison Nixon, PA-C works in our Gastroenterology department and sees patients at both the Robert F. Bitner Building (3rd floor) in Layton, and the South Ogden (2nd floor) clinic. She attended Utah State University for her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion with an emphasis in Health Science. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University in Nevada. Madison is  member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

Madison is a motivated and empathetic provider. She strives to be dedicated and compassionate towards her patients. She loves “that gastroenterology has all facets of medicine focusing on preventative care, as well as acute and chronic pathologies.” Being diagnosed with Celiac Disease was a catalyst event for her interest in GI, and gives her first hand experience at what her patients experience.

She loves to run, hike, golf, read novels, attend cycle classes, and spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite genre of books to read is historical fiction, and she enjoys all kinds of music. Madison can be found playing games with family/friends, attending a sporting event or concert, and traveling in her off time. She grew up in Logan, UT and her happy place is spending time with her husband outdoors. She is also a fan of sour candy.
