Janelle Harvey, DNP, FNP-C

Janelle Harvey, DNP, FNP-C, is a Family Medicine provider at East Layton on the main floor. She is a dedicated provider and committed to building lasting relationships with patients and families through compassionate, comprehensive care. She earned her Nursing, BSN, MSN, and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Weber State University and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Janelle is passionate about caring for patients through every stage of life and helping them achieve better long-term health through prevention, education, and personalized treatment plans. After spending valuable time working closely with dialysis patients, she realized how much she missed the continuity of care and broad patient relationships that first inspired her to pursue nursing. Family practice allows her to return to those roots while caring for a wide range of conditions and supporting patients over time.

Known for her empathetic nature and strong communication skills, Janelle values listening carefully to her patients and helping them and their families feel informed and supported. She also enjoys continuing to learn new skills and treatments that can better serve her patients and community.

She is originally from Syracuse and Hooper, Utah! Janelle enjoys staying active outside of work by going to the gym, playing pickleball and volleyball, hiking, traveling, and reading – especially historical fiction novels. She also admitted to having a soft spot for donuts. Her happy place is cruising through Alaska with her family. She and her husband, Jeremy, have three children, Aubree, Austin, and Alex; as well as three cats.
