Amber Moss, FNP-C

Amber D. Moss, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Tanner Clinic’s Syracuse location, where she provides compassionate, patient-centered care in both Family Medicine and Walk-In Care. Amber’s approach to medicine is rooted in empathy, adaptability, and a lifelong love of learning.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Amber spent five years working in the emergency room—an experience that strengthened her clinical skills and deepened her passion for helping others. She enjoys the ever-changing nature of medicine and values every opportunity to learn new treatments and approaches to better serve her patients.

Amber earned her nursing degrees from Weber State University, Steven’s Henager College, and Southern Utah University, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. She is a proud member of the American Nurses Association.

A lifelong Syracuse resident, Amber loves her hometown and is thrilled to be serving the community she has called home for nearly 40 years. Outside of work, she enjoys music (piano, singing, and flute), photography, snowboarding, paddleboarding, and spending time outdoors with her family. Amber is newly married and a proud mom to five kids, one daughter-in-law, and four stepchildren.

Her happy place is at home surrounded by family, often relaxing with a good show or a long hot bath.
