Austin Niederhauser, ACMHC, is located at our Layton Antelope Building A in the west wing of the basement. His educational background includes a dual master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and pursued his Master’s at Rocky Mountain University. Specializing in marriage and family counseling, Austin approaches therapy with empathy, patience, and a nonjudgmental attitude, valuing the uniqueness and diversity of each client.
Believing therapy to be a transformative journey, Austin aims to guide his clients with care and kindness, creating a safe space for them to explore their feelings and experiences. Active in the Utah Mental Health Counselors Association, he is dedicated to supporting his community and is particularly passionate about assisting military members and their families due to his father’s service in the United States Air Force.
Originally hailing from Texas, North Carolina, Idaho, and Utah, Austin finds solace in nature through fishing and hiking, and enjoys sports like football, baseball, and basketball. His happy place is in the mountains with his family, indulging in his favorite hobby of fishing. An avid country music fan, his guilty pleasure lies in the simple joys of life, surrounded by loved ones and embracing the serenity of the outdoors.
