Benjamin R. Humpherys, DO, is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). He works in the Interventional Spine and Pain department with a special emphasis on interventional procedures on the spine. He has helped patients alleviate their back and neck pain at the Layton Tanner Clinic since 2008. His practice is located in the lower level of the Layton Antelope Building B.
He performs x-ray-guided procedures to treat people who have neck and back problems including disc bulges and degeneration, arthritis, spinal stenosis, sacroiliac joint pain, sciatica, and myofascial pain (trigger points). He also offers BOTOX injections to patients who experience chronic migraines (greater than 15 headaches per month).

A native of Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Humpherys received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.) at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Humpherys’ internship and residency were completed at Michigan State University, where he was named chief resident and awarded an adjunct faculty position at the university. He then completed his training with his fellowship in interventional pain at Southwest Spine and Sports, Scottsdale, Arizona. He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Humpherys loves spending time with his wife and four children. He enjoys hiking, biking, boating, golfing, sports, chess, and landscape photography.
