Brooks H. Potter, DPM, is a certified podiatrist at Tanner Clinic. His practice is located on the main floor of the Layton Antelope Building A west wing.
A broken ankle sidelined Dr. Potter into a career as a podiatrist when he was playing football for Utah State University. Although he retains a particular affinity with sports medicine, Dr. Potter now treats foot-related ailments in patients of all ages at the Layton Tanner Clinic.
He is board-certified in podiatric surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Potter received his undergraduate degree in pre-physical therapy from USU. He continued on to earn a DPM from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.
The Logan, Utah, native completed two podiatric surgery residencies, beginning at the VA Loma Linda Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Potter then completed his training at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. He returned to Utah to join Tanner Clinic in 2002.
Sports still remains his primary off-hour interest, though he also enjoys traveling, racquetball, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Potter is fluent in Spanish.
