Calton Law, PA-C, is an advanced practice provider in the orthopedic practice of Dr. Jonathan Donigan, a specialist in hand surgery and disorders of the arm and shoulder. He is located on the first floor at Layton Parkway.
Calton is involved in all aspects of the practice, including in-office visits as well as acting as first assistant in the operating room. As a physician assistant, Calton is able to perform initial evaluations, consultations, diagnose, prescribe medication, and treat patients in coordination with Dr. Donigan, ensuring that patients can be seen and received treatment in a timely matter.
Some of the skills Calton brings to the practice include brings to the practice include: nonsurgical management of injuries and arthritis, administration of joint injections, tendon sheath injection, and fracture care. Calton is also experienced in the non-surgical prescription treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture, a condition of the hand which causes one or more fingers to stay bent towards the palm.
Calton earned his B.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology, a special affiliate of Penn State University. He has been working in orthopedics since his graduation in 2010. He is a native of Fruit Heights, UT, is married, and has four children. He loves spending time with his children while they enjoy their hobbies, and in his free time he goes hiking and generally being in the outdoors.
