Carly Bitton, CSW

Carly Bitton, CSW is an Associate Therapist at the Westside (Clinton) Tanner Clinic, seeing patients on the basement level. She provides sex‑positive, evidence‑based therapy for adults seeking support with sexual health and intimacy concerns, anxiety, OCD, and the unique stressors faced by first responders and individuals in high‑stress professions. Carly is currently accepting new patients and referrals.

Carly supports the clinic’s Sexual Health and Wellness services, bringing a grounded and professional approach to sexual health and intimacy. While she enjoys working with a wide range of clients, her primary focus areas include Sexual Health, Anxiety, and First Responders. She is ART‑certified (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), CBT-I trained (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), and integrates trauma‑aware care when clinically appropriate. Her professional background in forensics also informs her work with first responders, law enforcement, and other high‑stress systems.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Science from Weber State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. Carly fell in love with mental health after being diagnosed with a chronic illness and experiencing treatment from the patient’s perspective. “I saw a real impact there, and knew immediately that I wanted to be part of the group of people who were making a difference.”

Carly grew up in the South Ogden area and loves spending time outdoors. Some of her favorite hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, and paddle boarding. Her happy place is Florida, especially paddle boarding through the mangroves in the Keys, where she finds the most peace and fulfillment. Although she lives an active lifestyle, she also enjoys curling up with her pets, wrapped in a warm blanket with a good book. Choosing a favorite is difficult, but if she had to pick one, it would be A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. Carly also has a big sweet tooth and loves trying new desserts or interesting flavor combinations.
