Chase Mitchell, FNP-C

Chase Mitchell, FNP-C, has joined the orthopedic practice of Michael S. Dee, MD, at Tanner Clinic’s East Layton location on the main floor, west wing.

Mitchell is a dedicated nurse practitioner who has worked in the medical field for more than 10 years, with experience in several different specialties. A graduate of Bonneville High School, he completed his associate’s and bachelor’s degrees at Weber State University and his master’s in nursing at Indiana State University. He was certified as a nurse practitioner in 2014.

Chase began his career at Ogden Regional Medical Center, working in medical, surgical, and intermediate care, before moving to the stroke unit. He was a clinical supervisor at Ogden Regional and later worked at a pulmonary care clinic in Ogden.

“I like to focus on prevention as well as up-to-date treatments and therapies,” Mitchell said. “My mom is a nurse, so I’ve kind of grown up around the medical profession.”

Mitchell lives in West Haven with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys hunting and riding motorcycles in his free time.
