Justin Coles, DO

Justin Coles, DO is a family medicine provider at our Layton Antelope Building A in the east wing on the main floor. He attended the University of Utah and Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Coles is a part of the AAFP and the AMA. 

Dr. Coles is a determined, consistent, laid-back, and adaptable person. He believes that “through medicine, and especially family medicine, we are able to help people, not only medically, but also emotionally, physically and spiritually in all walks of life.” He also believes that we are in a unique position to be some of the first-line providers in medicine and can help serve those underserved populations. 

He was born and raised in Salt Lake City and loves the University of Utah athletics – in the Fall and Winter, you will often find him at a football or basketball game. His family includes his parents, two brothers, and a sister-in-law who all live down in Salt Lake City. 

For entertainment, Dr. Coles is into films and movies. His favorite movie is The Prestige, a 2006 film about two rival magicians and their constant battle to one-up each other His favorite book is “The Boys in the Boat,” which is a book about parallel stories that ultimately do not cross just prior and leading to WWII. He also said his favorite band is Queen. Dr. Coles’s happy place is either at home or Disneyland and a guilty pleasure is Peanut M&Ms.
