Get to Know Your Specialist

Dr. Ball is a clinical geneticist who sees patients of all ages with known or suspected genetic conditions at our Murray location. He has a special interest in providing care to patients of all ages with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other connective tissue and vascular diseases, and in providing diagnosis and treatment to adult patients with genetic conditions. Dr. Ball provides comprehensive genetic care for his patients, including preventive care, as well as the most current treatments for patients with genetic conditions.

He studied physics at the University of Utah before obtaining his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he was also awarded a master’s degree in cellular and molecular biology. Dr. Ball completed training in Medical Genetics at New York Presbyterian — Columbia in New York City and is board-certified in clinical genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics. He also holds a doctorate in public health conferred by UNC-Chapel Hill, where he studied the implementation of precision medicine and pharmacogenomics in healthcare systems.
