Haleigh Emerson, MD

Haleigh Emerson, MD, joins Tanner Clinic’s family medicine department excited to be practicing in her hometown at our Roy location.

Dr. Emerson attended the University of Utah where she completed her bachelor’s degree in physics with a chemistry minor. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed her residency at the McKay-Dee Family Medicine Program.

“I love taking care of the full spectrum of family medicine, and gaining a lifelong relationship with my patients,” she said.

Dr. Emerson is an advocate for her patients. She stated, “In family medicine, you’re able to be that home base for patients, and help provide them the best care possible.”

She enjoys the full spectrum of family medicine and has special interests in women’s health (including birth control, menopause, polycystic ovary syndrome, abnormal uterine bleeding), mental health (including anxiety and depression), and adolescent medicine.

Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, playing piano, attending the theater, and watching movies. She is a huge U of U football and Jazz basketball fan. She’s also stayed close to the Roy community by directing the Miss Roy Scholarship Competition with her mother.
