Heather Francis joined Tanner Clinic to work alongside the providers in the endocrinology department as a diabetes educator. She is located on the third floor of the Layton Antelope Building A east wing.
As a diabetes educator, Heather helps patients better understand nutrition and lifestyle management. She also trains patients on how to use particular devices used by diabetics for better control (including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors).
When Heather is away from the office, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and two sons. Her favorite activities include hiking, backpacking, and river rafting. “When I’m not in the mountains, I enjoy quilting and gardening,” said Heather.
