Jake Parkinson, FNP-BC

Jake Parkinson, FNP-BC is a family medicine practitioner at our Kaysville location. His journey in healthcare began at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He later completed a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at Maryville University of St. Louis.

His ability to work well under pressure was developed during his 8 years as an army paratrooper and combat medic. This experience instilled not only resilience but also the ability to listen and communicate effectively, ensuring that he understands and addresses his patients’ needs comprehensively. For the past 5 years, he applied these skills in an emergency department setting, where fast-paced decision-making and patient-centered care are paramount. Now, at Tanner Clinic, he can continue to provide top-notch healthcare services, guided by strong communication skills and patient-first approach.

Balancing his professional life, he has a devoted wife, a 4 year old son and a 1-year-old daughter. Family is his strength, inspiring him every day to bring compassion, expertise, and dedication to every patient. He loves to spend time watching and coaching his son in his soccer and baseball games. Additionally, he is an avid golfer, relishing the challenge and tranquility the sport provides. His passion for travel takes him to various corners of the globe, where he immerses himself in different cultures, continuously broadening his perspectives and understanding of the diverse world we live in.
