Jalee John, DO

Dr. Jalee John is an OB/GYN provider at our Layton Antelope Building B on the main floor. She attended Marian University in Indianapolis for her undergraduate and medical degrees, then she attended Thomas Jefferson University in New Jersey for her OBGYN residency. She is diligent, dedicated to the patient’s overall well-being, and focused. She believes that “OBGYN is a field that brings joy into women’s lives and brings support during a time of immense vulnerability. It also brings openness and awareness to sensitive health concerns allowing for a great personal impact in the lives of the patients.”

Dr. John has a passion for providing evidence-based medicine and minimally invasive surgical management for quick recovery. She is specifically interested in preventive health, fertility planning, and contraception, as well as improving intimacy in relationships. Her training focused on high-risk pregnancies and deliveries, in addition to Davinci robotic surgeries. 

Jalee grew up in western Nebraska and is married to a family medicine physician, who is a Layton native. They share one smart sweet boy and one beautiful happy girl. Jalee’s guilty pleasures are brownies and donuts. Her happy place is either “feeling the wind on my face with fresh powder under my skis, being at the top of a rock wall, or playing games with family and friends.” She also enjoys hiking, reading, and board games!
