Jennifer Sorensen, PA-C

Jennifer Sorensen, PA-C joined the Pain Management department in 2022 and is excited to work at Tanner Clinic with a great group of people to do what she loves. Jennifer has served on the Utah PA Association Board and has the National Certification of Physician Assistants. She attended The University of Utah for Physician Assistant school. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Chemistry before graduate school. She is located on the main floor of the Layton Antelope Building A east wing.

When asked about the work she does as a Pain Management provider, she said “I believe PAs bring dedication to improving healthcare to be more patient-focused. I am passionate about helping people achieve better health and quality of life.” Behaviors and traits that make Jennifer successful include working well in a team to deliver excellent patient care and using good listening skills to address any concerns a patient may have to help find a solution.  

Jennifer grew up in Northern Utah and is eager to provide care to her community. Together, she and her husband have four children, three girls and one boy. Her interests include gardening, baking, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her kids – especially watching them play hockey and perform ballet. Her happy place is at home with her family. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys watching Downton Abby and reality TV. She also likes watching historical documentaries and reading novels.
