James (Jim) Bledsoe, DO, joined Tanner Clinic to continue practicing as a family medicine physician. Dr. Bledsoe is located on the first floor of Layton Parkway.
A California native, Dr. Bledsoe moved to Utah for his undergraduate degree in molecular biology at Brigham Young University. He then pursued his D.O. degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. After graduation, Dr. Bledsoe was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He attended Malcolm Grow Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, for his three-year medical residency.
After completing his residency, Dr. Bledsoe gained valuable experience as a healthcare provider at a primary care clinic in Beale Air Force Base, California. During his time in California, Dr. Bledsoe spent a year abroad at Al Dhafra Air Base located in the United Arab Emirates. He was then stationed at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, and later relocated to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, where he continued practicing at primary care clinics.
Since his time in the Air Force, Dr. Bledsoe has been providing quality health care to patients at the South Ogden Center for Family Medicine and Ogden Clinic. He has also served as chief of family medicine at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
As a family medicine physician at Tanner Clinic, Dr. Bledsoe enjoys treating all members of the family at every stage of life. He particularly enjoys helping his patients overcome their illnesses—whether physical or mental—and guiding them toward a better quality of life.
Dr. Bledsoe is fluent in Spanish.
