Karen Boheen, DO is a board-certified OB/GYN provider at Tanner Clinic, working in the Bitner Building on the 2nd floor. She attended St. Bonaventure University, received her Medical Degree from NYIT (New York Institute of Technology), and her Residency training at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. She has received numerous awards, including Davis Hospital Physician of the Year. Dr. Boheen has also held numerous board positions, including President of the Medical Staff at Davis Hospital.
When it comes to patient care, she is adaptable, driven, accountable, and accessible. Dr. Boheen said, “Being female in a female field, I feel I have a good understanding of the issues surrounding women’s health.” She has extensive experience as an OB/GYN and deeply cares about her patients.
Karen is a single parent to her daughter and said her happy place is anywhere with family. Her favorite book is “Atlas Shrugged,” her favorite movie is “El Cid,” and her favorite music includes 80’s rock, Hozier, Bon Iver, and Adele. Like any hard-working OB, her guilty pleasure is a good nap.
