Ann-Kristin Swahn, DNP

Krissy Swahn, DNP, came to Tanner Clinic with a lifelong desire to work in the medical field and practice medicine through the nursing viewpoint. She’s worked in pediatrics, family care, and geriatrics, and her passion for helping people of all ages stay the course of health is rooted deep. She is located at our Westside clinic on the main floor.

Having previously lived in California, England, and Scotland, she settled in Utah where she attended Weber State University and Westminster College. While pursuing her education, she held on to a desire to help patients learn about overall health, leading her to become a family nurse practitioner.

“I enjoy teaching my patients how to take good care of themselves,” she said. “That’s rewarding in itself, seeing their knowledge base grow and learn how to manage their health.” Along with family medicine, she specializes in depression and anxiety and shows her patients how they can get, and stay, better. 

Outside of her practice, she enjoys riding horses, reading books, and spending time with her husband and children.
