Mark R. Lenthe, DO, is a family medicine physician at Tanner Clinic. His practice is located on the first floor of Layton Parkway.
Dr. Lenthe brought his skills as a family medicine physician to the Layton Tanner Clinic in 2008. Dr. Lenthe joined the clinic after six years as an active duty major in the U.S. Air Force providing health care to airmen and their families stationed at Hill Air Force Base. He continues to accept new patients to his practice at the Layton clinic.
Dr. Lenthe is a native of South Ogden and graduated summa cum laude from Bonneville High where he was an All-State running back for the Lakers’ football team. He then began his college education at Weber State University (graduating with cum laude honors in microbiology).
Following, Dr. Lenthe completed his medical degree at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California, where he earned a D.O. Dr. Lenthe was named chief resident during his family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medicine Center in Omaha and Erhling Bergquist Hospital at Offutt AFB.
As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Lenthe focuses on disease prevention and education, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sports medicine, dermatology, and osteopathic manipulation, as well as all areas of family well care.
Dr. Lenthe leads an active lifestyle and particularly enjoys skiing, snowboarding, waterskiing, and boating with his wife and three children. At other times, you’ll find him on the underside of water scuba diving. He also enjoys his time coaching a boys competition soccer team.
