Michelle Atkin, PA-C

Michelle Atkin, PA-C, practices neurology with Dr. Sadiq at Tanner Clinic’s Layton Antelope Building A, located on the 3rd floor of the East Wing. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their neurological health and providing compassionate, knowledgeable care tailored to each individual.

Michelle earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah, where she also completed her bachelor’s degree in biology.  Her path to becoming a PA began in 2001 when she started her medical career as a surgical technologist. That experience sparked a lifelong fascination with science and medicine inspiring her to deepen her knowledge and continue learning throughout her career.

In addition to her work at Tanner Clinic, Michelle has a long history of community service. She joined Utah Medical Outreach in 2003, an organization that provides medical services to underserved populations in South America. She has also volunteered locally through programs like Science in the Park with Weber State University, Maliheh Clinic in Salt Lake City, and Title I school initiatives.

Michelle grew up in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada and now loves serving her own community here in Utah. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her two children and her large extended family. For Michelle, being a mother is her greatest joy, and she brings that same empathy and dedication into her patient care.
