Mike Young, PA-C, is a part of the Rheumatology team in our Layton Antelope Building A on the second floor, east wing.
Young received his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree—studying chemistry, psychology, and zoology—from Weber State University. He later completed his Master of Biomedical Science Degree with an emphasis in pharmacology research at A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
While completing his degree, Young met and married his wife, Caitlin. Upon graduation, they moved home to Utah where Young continued to pursue a medical career. He attended Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah, and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
Throughout schooling, Young completed his clinical rotations at local healthcare facilities including Morgan Health Center, McKay-Dee Hospital, and Timpanogos Regional Hospital. Now at Tanner Clinic, Young works to help patients experiencing autoimmune complications. The most beneficial advice Young gives to people experiencing complications is to be informed and seek help early on from a healthcare provider.
“Rheumatology is an essential part of our community and can greatly benefit those affected by autoimmune diseases,” said Young.
Outside of work, Young and his wife enjoy cooking, traveling, and catching up on their favorite shows. They enjoy spending time with their beautiful little girl and adventuresome little boy.
All insurance accepted by the clinic.
