Nathan Ferreira, PA-C

Nathan Ferreira, PA, joins Tanner Clinic Kaysville clinic with a history of helping people in preventative care and in emergency situations get on the path to better health. He said, “It’s very important to get a sense that patients feel better overall, mentally or physically.”

A native of Layton, Utah, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in microbiology and his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Utah.

In the past, he worked as a paramedic and firefighter for the Ogden City Fire Department as well as the University of Utah Hospital. Before that, he helped people learn about the importance of diet and exercise as a personal trainer.

His experiences have helped grow his passion for helping people as well as led him to want a personal relationship with patients in healthcare.

“It’s rewarding to know that you’ve helped somebody,” he said. “Whether you’ve helped them feel better or listened to their concerns, it’s important that you’ve let patients be heard.”

Outside of work, he enjoys being physically active, including hiking, biking, and spending time with his family.
