Paul Bruderer, OD

Paul C. Bruderer, OD, has helped Tanner Clinic patients find the right contact lenses and glasses using the newest digital technology to maximize comfort and clarity. His practice is located on the second floor of the Layton Antelope Building B Building.

A native of Salt Lake City, Paul graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in biology. He received his O.D. (doctor of optometry) from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. He completed internships at the Eye Foundation of Utah in Murray, the Ogden Eye Center, and the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

In addition to his service at Tanner Clinic, Paul is the owner of and practitioner at West Valley Vision Source, a bilingual family eye care practice. He has had practices at businesses such as Target, Walmart, Pearle Vision in Riverdale, and 20/20 Vision Center in Murray.

Paul remains very active in community and humanitarian service. He accompanied a service mission to Hermosillo, Mexico, with OneSight, an international aid organization. He has also participated in free eye care for The Vision Van, serving low income schools; at the National Convention of Foreign Wars; and Project Insight, providing eye exams and glasses to economically disadvantaged children.

Paul is married with four children. He also enjoys cooking, sports and outdoor activities. He’s also active in the scouting program.
