Dr. Baker is a colorectal/general surgeon at our Layton Antelope Building B location on the second floor, who provides comprehensive care to his patients through a multidisciplinary approach. He works hard to include other providers as part of the patient’s team to have the best possible care. He has special training in the surgical management of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and anorectal disease using minimally invasive surgery. He enjoys treating and bonding with his patients and their families during what can be a very difficult time in their lives.
He attended medical school at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He had a residency in general surgery at the Guthrie Clinic, Robert Racker Hospital. His fellowship was in Colon & Rectal Surgery, at Grant Medical Center. Dr. Baker has board certification in the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
