Scott Cardon, MD, joined the Layton Tanner Clinic as an urgent care physician. The Layton clinic Antelope Building A urgent care center is accessed by entering through the south entrance doors. Dr. Cardon has been practicing in Northern Utah for more than 20 years. He is board-certified in family medicine.
Dr. Cardon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in zoology from Brigham Young University in Provo. He completed medical school at the University of Utah and a family practice residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California.
Dr. Cardon served as a family physician in the Air Force, then began practicing at a healthcare clinic in South Ogden. He began his urgent care practice in 1994 and brings a wealth of experience to Tanner Clinic.
Dr. Cardon enjoys soccer. He played college soccer and has officiated games on both the high school and college levels. He volunteers at the Midtown Free Clinic in Ogden and serves on the Weber ATC medical assistant board. He enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, skiing and shooting. He and his wife have four children and three grandchildren.
Dr. Cardon is fluent in French.
