Tamara Meyers, PA-C

Tamara Meyers, MPAS, PA-C is a part of the Utah Digestive Health Team under Dr. Matthew Redd. She attended Weber State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She went to the University of Utah Medical School for Physician Assistant Studies and received a master’s degree (MPAS). She is located in the Bitner building on the second floor and in the South Ogden building on the second floor.

Tamara has trained and worked as a CNA, EMT, phlebotomist, and physical therapist assistant (PTA). She worked as a PA in neurology for 4 years prior to joining the UDHI Team in 2007.

Tamara is from Ogden, Utah, and has been living here most of her life. She and her husband love to work in their garden and enjoy the fruits and vegetables of their labor. She enjoys walking, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends, dogs, and cats. She is endeavoring to learn to knit and is currently working on a sweater and shawl. She loves doing yoga and is a long-term meditator.

Tamara is passionate about providing care for her patients. She feels as a PA it is essential to use medical training and experience, as well as compassion, to help patients gain an understanding of their disease process and to help them heal physically, emotionally, and mentally. It is equally important to build a trusting relationship with the patient and their family. Tamara is dedicated to learning more about diet and nutrition influence our overall health.
