Tyler Williams, MD

Tyler Williams, MD, is an internist seeing patients at Tanner Clinic’s Layton Parkway Clinic on the third floor. He sees patients ages 18 and older, and the variety that comes from patients across the span of young adults to geriatric is one of the things he enjoys most about practicing internal medicine.

Dr. Williams was voted the ‘#1 Family Doctor in Davis County’ by the Davis Clipper in 2018. His focus is on the primary care of his patients, and he specializes in complicated disease cases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. He is passionate about developing a relationship with each of his patients and working with them to help them take ownership of their own health.

The Utah native completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah and went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then returned to the University Of Utah School Of Medicine for his residency.

Dr. Williams spent several years at Intermountain’s Bountiful Clinic before joining Tanner Clinic. He appreciates Tanner Clinic’s patient-centered culture and the cohesive method of treating patients across all specialties under one roof.

A married father of four, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family, especially vacationing. He also loves Utah’s outdoor activities, such as cycling and skiing.
