Dr. Williams, a Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon, is located on the second floor of Layton Antelope B. He is a board-certified surgeon and highly trained plastic surgeon who brings world-class expertise and a passion for patient care back to his home state of Utah. A graduate of Utah State University, where he earned his degree in public health magna cum laude, Dr. Williams went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. While there, he was awarded a military health scholarship with the army. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, serving proudly in the U.S. military for 11 years, including two combat deployments as a general and trauma surgeon. These experiences demanded precision, resilience, and compassion—qualities he now brings to every patient he serves.
Seeking to further his specialty training, Dr. Williams trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Houston Methodist Hospital, consistently ranked among the nation’s top 10 hospitals and located in the world’s largest medical center. His training included time at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Memorial Hermann Trauma Center, the busiest trauma center in the world. This advanced experience provided him with unmatched expertise in both complex reconstructive and aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Williams is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, board eligible with the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society.
On his philosophy of care, Dr. Williams states:
“I’m passionate about reconstructive plastic surgery because I’ve seen the devastating effects that cancer, trauma, disease, or other causes can have on a person. These effects are not only felt on the physical body, but also impact the confidence, mental state, and emotional and spiritual well-being. I’ve seen plastic surgery help patients cope with those challenges and help them get back to a state where they feel comfortable in their own skin.”
After years of training and service, Dr. Williams is thrilled to return to his home state of Utah with his wife and four daughters. He looks forward to caring for the people of his community, bringing world-class training, and a warm, approachable style to every patient he meets.
