Alyssa Winters, DO

Alyssa Winters, DO is an OB/GYN provider at our Layton Parkway Clinic on the third floor. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Utah, graduated medical school at A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Michigan.

Dr. Winters believes in providing evidence-based medical care and addressing medical issues that are catered to a woman’s life allowing her patients to feel included and empowered in their care. She is persistent, pays attention to detail, is a good listener, organized, empathetic, and curious – all traits that help her practice to be a place where women feel seen and comfortable. Her specific interests in OBGYN are managing obstetric patients with multiple co-morbidities to foster a pregnancy that results in a healthy mom and a healthy baby. Dr. Winters also has a passion for preventative medicine, improving quality of life by treating abnormal bleeding and cycle irregularities, teens and contraception management, as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

She and her husband both grew up in Utah, and together they have three children. She enjoys any activity with her family and watching her kids learn and explore. Dr. Winters loves the outdoors and water sports, specifically sailing; her happy place is on a sailboat with a mild summer breeze, listening to the water trickle along the side of the boat. Dr. Winters also likes camping, hiking, running and Pilates.
