Zachary D. Van Wagoner, MD, joined Tanner Clinic as a general surgeon who strives to provide high-quality care to each of his patients. Dr. Van Wagoner’s practice is located on the second floor of the Layton Antelope Building B. He is now accepting new patients and referrals.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Van Wagoner enjoys the variety and hands-on approach of surgical procedures. Whether removing a gallbladder or appendix, repairing a hernia, or performing a biopsy, Dr. Van Wagoner is most focused on helping his patients feel their best again.
“We are here to help,” said Dr. Van Wagoner. “It’s very rewarding to see how much better people can feel after recovering from surgery.”
The Utah native completed his residency and internship in general surgery at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Prior, he earned his M.D. at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Van Wagoner graduated with his bachelor’s degree in physiology and developmental biology with a minor in music from Brigham Young University.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Van Wagoner enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and recordkeeping.
