Bryan Mortensen, Au.D., CCC-A

Bryan Mortensen, Au.D., CCC-A is an audiology provider at our Layton Parkway location and Layton Antelope Building A on the 2nd floor, west side. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences from BYU, a Master’s Degree in Audiology from BYU, and a Doctorate Degree in Audiology from A.T. Still University.  

Bryan believes communication is vital to the well-being and relationships of human beings. If he can help people to be able to hear better, then he feels he is helping them make their lives better and richer. “As a hard-of-hearing person from birth, I have a personal understanding of what it means to have a hearing loss. I have worn hearing aids all my life and so I understand the personal, social, educational, and professional issues related to hearing loss.” 

He grew up in Northern California but has family ties in Utah. He and his wife have three children together, and Bryan enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys sports, particularly volleyball and soccer – his happy place is in the middle of a volleyball court, or in his favorite chair during the Soccer World Cup. His favorite movies are Galaxy Quest, Second Hand Lions, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Quiet Man. As for music, Bryan enjoys a variety of 70s and 80s!
