Brooke Howell, CSW

Brooke Howell, CSW is a provider in our Behavioral Health team at our Westside clinic in the basement providing Mental Health Therapy as a Clinical Social Worker. She is also a part of the Prevention Team at Davis Behavioral Health, where she co-facilitates parent, youth, and family groups.

Brooke has experience working with adolescents in various settings, including K-12 school social work, juvenile probation, day school treatment, and long-term residential treatment. Though most of her work has been with the adolescent and teenage population, she truly enjoys providing outpatient therapeutic services to adults of all ages as well. She believes in utilizing various modalities tailored to the individual client and their best interest. Whether it be depression, anxiety, PTSD, negative self-esteem, relationship struggles, generational trauma, ADHD, or behavioral mismanagement, she can tackle it together.

She attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW). Later, she attended The University of Central Florida where she received her master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) through the advanced standing program.

Brooke grew up in Northern Virginia, and she wouldn’t have had it any other way. The East Coast holds a special place in her heart. She is married with one daughter and has a crazy dog named Bob. They are her joy in life.

She believes that the simplest things can change your life for the better. Brooke loves finding new ways to challenge herself and find adventure and meaning in the smallest of things. She also said “If I was stranded on a warm water tropical beach, no need for a rescue, just leave me there. A lot of my best memories involve the beach. I just might have to send in an application for Survivor someday!”
