Behavioral Health
Our Behavioral Health team actively comprises a diverse group of highly trained professionals. These include psychiatrists, health psychologists, therapists, and eating disorder specialists. They excel in addressing various aspects of mental and behavioral well-being. Moreover, they cover a broad spectrum from mental health disorders and substance abuse to life stressors and stress-related physical symptoms. The core focus of their expertise lies in preventing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions.
Understanding the distinction between behavioral health and mental health becomes crucial. Behavioral health serves as a comprehensive term, encompassing mental health and actively considering how behaviors exert an impact on both physical and psychological well-being. In essence, it delves into the interplay between behavior and overall health.
With dedication, our providers diligently examine the diverse factors that wield influence over an individual’s well-being. For instance, behavioral health professionals vigorously investigate behaviors contributing to obesity, a condition directly impacting physical health, even if it might not be exclusively classified as a mental health disorder.

WHAT IS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH?
Behavioral health is the study of the relationship between emotions, thoughts, and health related to one’s mental well-being.
Behavioral health includes the exploration of life factors that impact the way we interact with our environment.
By examining aspects such as mental health concerns, relationship dynamics, and health factors, we can identify ways to intervene in order to promote a happier and healthier life.
