Jason Hoagland, MD

Jason R. Hoagland, MD, joined Tanner Clinic’s pediatrics team in 2001. The board-certified pediatrician brings genuine concern and care for each and every patient he sees at his practice in the Kaysville Tanner Clinic.

Dr. Hoagland completed his residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, based in Cleveland, Ohio. The hospital is repeatedly ranked one of America’s Best Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Hoagland completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University, earning a degree in zoology. He earned his M.D. at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

While working as a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Hoagland served as president of the Davis Hospital and Medical Center medical staff, president of the Ogden Surgical and Medical Society, president of the Davis County Medical Society, and as chair of the hospital’s Department of Pediatrics for six years.

The father of five children, Dr. Hoagland is active in service to his church, coaching youth sports and scouting. He was awarded the Silver Beaver—the highest recognition a Boy Scout council can bestow on an adult volunteer leader—which was received after overseeing 260 units of scouting for six years. Additionally, Dr. Hoagland received the Vaccine Champion award from the CDC.
