Matthew Naegle, DO FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician located at the Farmington location. He has a special interest in newborn medicine, childhood development, and asthma care.
Dr. Naegle focuses on empowering parents with genuine concern, compassion, and communication. He enjoys taking extra time to educate about how a child’s overall health is connected to various illnesses and treatment options. In addition to treating symptoms, he focuses on healthy lifestyle choices, practical approaches to parenting, and other strategies to maximize long-term childhood wellness and development. When asked about why he chose to be a pediatrician, he said, “I am continually amazed by the remarkable journey of growth and development each child embarks on, and I cherish the opportunity to help parents guide their children along their unique path.”
Dr. Naegle completed his residency at Blank Children’s Hospital, which offered him extra time to work in the NICU. He also has experience working as a pediatric hospitalist treating more complex medical cases.
A Utah native from Bountiful, Dr. Naegle is a devoted husband and father of four, including twins. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him working on projects with his wife, wrestling and building Legos with his kids, competing in sports, or exploring the nearby mountains and lakes. He’s a lifelong Star Wars buff, a Harry Potter enthusiast, and Utah sports fan. His happy place is anywhere he can enjoy nature’s beauty with the people he cares about.
