Nicole Stapley’s work has taken her from the mountains of Ecuador to the Salt Lake Valley. Stapley, a doctor of nursing practice and a pediatric nurse practitioner, has been practicing since 2015 when she joined Tanner Clinic. She is located at the Kaysville building.
After graduating from Davis High School, Stapley completed her B.S. in nursing at the University of Utah. She then served as a mission nurse specialist for the LDS Church in Quito, Ecuador. Following her mission, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Utah.
While completing her DNP degree, Stapley worked as a registered nurse focusing on orthopedic, oncology, and medical/surgical patients in addition to performing telephone triage for a medical group in Salt Lake City. She has also volunteered at Orphanage Support Services in Ecuador and at The Family Support Center in Salt Lake City.
Stapley believes integrity, compassion, excellence, and respect are the foundation of a patient-centered healthcare experience.
“I encourage patients to participate in their own care and strive to treat the whole person,” said Stapley.
She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
While Stapley enjoys playing the piano and reading in her free time, her favorite pastime is spending time with her husband and two children.
