Trevor D. Taylor, PsyD, is a Clinical Psychologist practicing Health Psychology at Tanner Clinic’s Westside location in the basement. His office is located on the lower level of the clinic. He is accepting new patients and referrals.
Dr. Taylor describes Health Psychology as the interplay between medical illnesses and mental health symptoms, including depression, anxiety, stress, and poor adjustments. Dr. Taylor meets with patients who are diagnosed with medical illnesses to provide therapies and treatment to help prevent, manage, and cope with conditions.
Dr. Taylor treats a variety of medical conditions, including, but not limited to cancer, diabetes, chronic fatigue, arthritis, chronic pain, neurological disorders, and weight management.
“As a Clinical Psychologist, seeing my patients succeed and reach a stage of healthy acceptance is rewarding,” said Dr. Taylor. “I enjoy helping my patients reach that point so they can continue living their lives.”
The Utah native earned his Clinical Psychology degree from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. Prior, he earned a master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, Dr. Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Weber State University.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, riding ATVs, and golfing.
