Get to Know Your Specialist

Victoria Thompson, LCSW, works at our Westside clinic in the basement as a licensed clinical social worker.

As an LCSW, Victoria works with individuals (both children and adults), couples, and families to overcome life’s challenges through various psychotherapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy principles, and experiential/family therapies. Additionally, Victoria runs groups addressing mindfulness, empowerment for teen girls and women, and teen dialectical behavior therapy.

She enjoys helping her clients who live with various illnesses and complications including depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, ADD/ADHD, relationship issues, lack of self-esteem, faith transition/crisis, and women’s issues such as peripartum. She is also EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing trained.

Victoria completed her master’s degree in social work through the University of Utah’s Advanced Standing Program. Prior, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in family studies with a minor in psychology and later earned a Bachelor of Science in social work from Weber State University where she served as student body president.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include planning events and parties, exercising (Zumba, weight training, tennis), and playing the piano and the violin. She also enjoys connecting with her community through the Weber State Alumni Association.
